A beam having flanges composed of wood pieces and a web consisting of a wire member bent alternately back and forth to extend between and being attached to the flanges at the bends. Each flange comprises at least two wood pieces which extend longitudinally of the beam and are joined together by gluing, at least one of the wood pieces having recesses in the surface joined with the other wood piece, which recesses are adapted to receive the bends of the wire member. The beam is manufactured in that recesses are arranged at regular intervals in a long wood piece, whereupon two such wood pieces provided with recesses are placed at a distance from one another corresponding to the distance between the flanges of the beam to be made, with the recesses in one wood piece exactly opposite to points situated halfway between the recesses in the other wood piece. (54) BEAM The invention relates to construction and is intended for the manufacture of supporting structures made of wood and metal. A beam is known, including shelves made up of wooden beams interconnected in length, and a wall of boards on an edge l | . The disadvantages of this beam are high consumption of wood and high labor intensity of manufacture. Closest to the present invention is a beam, including shelves composed of wooden bars interconnected along the length along the layer m i and the wall in the form of a zigzag-shaped curved element, whose curved knees are placed in the recesses of the shelves 2j. The disadvantage of this beam is the high labor-consuming nature of the fabrication of the zigzag bending of the wooden elements that make up the wall. The purpose of the invention is to simplify manufacture. The goal is achieved by the fact that in a beam comprising shelves made up of wooden bars connected together in length, and a wall in the form of a zigzag curved element whose curved knees are placed in the recesses of the shelves, the shelf bars are connected in a vertical contact plane and the zigzag-curved element is made in the form of a continuous metal rod. Fig, I shows the proposed beam with a cut-out part of the shelf, a general view; in fig. 2 and 3 - options: the curved rings of a curved metal element. The beam includes shelves made up of bars 1 and 2, a zigzag-shaped element 3. In the bars, 1 shelves, recesses 4 are made, in which curved knees 5 of element 3 are placed. The recesses have a shape corresponding to 39 to tsuyu bent knee. The depth of the recesses 4 in the bars x 1 corresponds to the diameter of the metal zigzag curved element 3. The recesses 4 can be made in both bars x 1 and 2 and in this case the depth of the recesses corresponds only to the depth of the diameter of the wire element 3. In the manufacture of beams in bars x 1 or 2, recesses are made at predetermined intervals. Then, bars 1 are laid out at a certain distance from one another, corresponding to the height between the shelves. The surface of the bars, which have recesses, is covered with glue and the zigzag-curved element is pressed with its knees into the recesses. The bars 2 are placed on surfaces covered with glue and after curing the glue, the beam is ready for use, The recesses 4 have two straight sections that are inclined towards each other and converge on the side of the shelf facing the wall, but if the baipka has to withstand heavy loads, it is advisable to give the walls a special shape, for example, in, the contour; (Fig. 2). To increase the strength of the beam when bending it can also be done by reinforcing the floor 96014 ki core reinforcement 6, which is placed in the recess 7, made along the length of the shelf 1. The proposed beam of this design can be used as a stand or horizontal beam in the construction of buildings, for rafters and in other supporting structures.
